TCC 4th Year and Grade 6 Retreat

Going on a retreat means taking time away from your ordinary life and situation. It is a special time to give yourself some peace and calm. You might be stepping away from a hectic lifestyle full of being too busy.

That's why every year, Tarlac Christian College is setting a special retreat for the graduating elementary and high school students to ease off themselves from their busy schedules in school.

The theme song of this years retreat was "He's still working on me" where they got the main theme for the said event. It was held at the Rizal Recreational Center located at Rizal, Laguna.

The students arrived at the location after an almost five hour trip. They first have their pictorial having the green nature as their background. Also the high school students prepared themselves for their banquet night. Boys look great at their suits nd the girls were astonishing on their gowns that night. Everyone enoyed the night event. There were singing, games, sharing testimonies, and many more activity. The foods that the staffs of RCC prepared for the students were really good, it's like eating in a five star restaurant Of course it will not hear the word of God. That nights speaker was Pastor Eli.

In the end of the banquet goes the awarding for who stand out at that night. Out of seventy two lovely and gorgeous ladies nd men, two stood up that night. Mr. and Miss Banquet 15 goes to none other than Ivan Bonifacio and Micapola Calilung.

Second day, after the morning service, the students repared for their recreational activities. They were divided by groups per cabin. These activities test their collaboration and unity as a team. Everyone had great fun and enjoyment, which is the real purpose of this retreat.

During the last night of their stay, Pastor Eli had preached his final message for everyone, which was about living above the standards. It was a very poignant time for the students because this was the time where  they read all the retreat letters that they received form their classmates friends and specially from their parents. There were laughter and tears in each and every one that time. The letters melted the hearts of the students.

He's still working on me to make me what I ought to be. It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars, The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars.
How loving and patient He must be, He's still working on me.

1. There really ought to be a sign upon the heart, Don't judge her yet, there's an unfinished part. But I'll be perfect just according to His plan Fashioned by the Master's loving hands.

CHORUS:

2. In the mirror of His Word reflections that I see Make me wonder why He never gave up on me. He loves me as I am and helps me when I pray Remember He's the Potter, I'm the clay.

Last day of retreat, a final service headed the of on by owner of RCC, Revernd Joe  Mauk. Aside from sharing God's Word, he is also fund of playing his tops. Using these as his models in presenting Jesus in the lives of people. Before going straight back home, they first enjoyed the extreme rides as they went to Enchanted Kingdom for the final part of the said retreat. Tired but happy, as everyone finally arrived home in Tarlac. Looking at these students whose lives were challenged and inspired by that retreat. Knowing that God is really working on us.
